You can find Mamta Travels right inside Hotel Mamta on Frazer Road. We are very close to Dakbunglow Chowk, which is one of the busiest parts of Patna. Being located in a hotel means we see a lot of people coming and going at all hours. Most of our work involves helping guests or locals who need a vehicle or a ticket. It’s a small desk setup, nothing too flashy or modern. We’ve been operating from this spot for quite a while. Since we are near the chowk, there is always something happening outside on the street. We handle a lot of last-minute requests. Someone might wake up and decide they need to get to the airport or a nearby town, and they come to us. We just check what we have available and tell them the price. There’s no big mystery to it. The office stays busy because of the location. We don’t have a lot of fancy brochures, mostly just our notebooks and the phone. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a quick break, but usually, we are just sorting out travel dates. It is a practical business. We know the roads around here like the back of our hands. People know the Mamta name because of the hotel, so they just walk in. We try to be helpful and get the paperwork done quickly so they can get on their way.
