Jet Airways (India) Ltd. has its office at House No 39 in Nazar Bagh, Lucknow. It is a regular house in an old part of the city. We have been here for a long time. Working out of a house instead of a big glass building makes things feel a bit more relaxed. We handle the local side of things for the airline, mostly paperwork and coordination. Nazar Bagh has its own charm, though the streets can be a bit narrow and crowded sometimes. Our office is just a few rooms with desks and phones. We spend most of our time talking to people and sorting out files. It is not a high-pressure corporate environment. We know the local shopkeepers and the people living nearby. Sometimes we sit out for a bit when the weather is nice. We do not have any fancy mission statements or promotional posters on the walls. It is just a place where we come to work every morning. Most folks are surprised to find an airline office in a residential house, but it has worked for us for years. We do not try to act like we are in a big city skyscraper. We just handle the tasks at hand and try to be helpful to anyone who stops by. It is a very simple and honest way to run an office.
