Our office is located at House Number Bl-169 in Phagwara, Punjab. Being part of the India Tourism Development Corporation means we have a lot of paperwork to handle every single day. Phagwara is a lively place, and we see people coming in with all sorts of questions about where to go and what to see in this part of India. It isn't a glamorous job. We spend a lot of time at our desks, filing reports and keeping track of various tourism projects around the region. The building is just a regular house that we've converted into our workspace. It feels more like a home than a sterile office. Sometimes the power goes out or the printer jams, and we just have to wait it out like everyone else in the neighborhood. We don't have a marketing team writing scripts for us. We just tell people the truth about travel times and costs. Some days we are helping people plan long trips across the country, and other days we are just explaining local rules. It’s a steady pace of work. We’ve been here at 144402 for a while now, so the locals know where to find us. We don't try to dress things up. We just provide the information we have and try to be as helpful as possible. It is a bit of a quiet spot, but it stays busy enough to keep us on our toes throughout the week.
