We are based at Shop No.2 in the Shakti Commercial Complex. This is on Boring Road in Patna, which is a place that never really stays quiet. Home Beauty Parlour is near Alankar Palace, so there are always shoppers and people eating at the stalls nearby. The complex itself has a lot of different shops and offices, so there is a constant flow of people walking past our window all day. We spend our day in this small space. It is not a high-end salon with a lot of polish or fancy uniforms. It is just a practical shop where we do what needs to be done. The floors are tile and the chairs have been here for a few years. We open up in the morning and stay until the market starts to quiet down at night. Boring Road can be a tough place to find parking, so we see people walking in after they have left their cars blocks away. The 800001 area is very familiar to us because we have been here so long. We have our regulars who like to chat about their day while they are here. It is a very simple way of working. We don't have a corporate office or a marketing team. It is just us in the Shakti Commercial Complex, doing hair and facials and trying to keep everything running smoothly. Some days are more tiring than others, but that is just how it is.
