About Government Ayurvedic College – Education in Patna
If you’ve ever been to Kadam-Kuan in Patna, you know how packed the streets can get. Our college is right in the thick of that, and it’s been there for a long time. Being a government place, things move slowly sometimes, and the building has that old-school feel with high ceilings and heavy doors. We deal with Ayurvedic medicine, so there is often a smell of dried herbs or oils hanging in the air near the labs. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate to the back offices, and you’ll usually see students sitting on the steps going over their thick textbooks. Patna is a loud city, so there’s always the sound of horns and people shouting outside the walls. We have a lot of patients coming in and out too, looking for traditional treatments, which keeps the energy up. The furniture is mostly heavy wood that’s probably been here since before I was born. We don't really do the whole modern office thing; it’s more about stacks of files and handwritten notes. Sometimes the water cooler breaks down or the lights flicker, but we just call the local guy to fix it and keep going. It’s a busy, somewhat messy place, but it’s got a lot of history behind it. People come from all over Bihar to study here, and they just blend into the daily chaos of Kadam-Kuan. It’s just part of life.
