We’ve been sitting here at Z Complex for a good while now. Ashok Raj Path is always busy, especially being so close to Gandhi Maidan and the PMCH hospital. Sometimes the traffic is just a lot, but we like being in the middle of everything. It started out small, just a desk and a couple of phones to help people get where they needed to go. We aren’t a big fancy operation with hundreds of staff. It’s just us. Most days involve answering the phone and writing down details for trips. If you walk past PMCH and look across, you’ll see our spot. It’s easy to miss if you aren't looking closely. The walls are a bit plain, but we keep things organized. People stop by after finishing their hospital visits or just because they’re in the area for errands. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. The tea stall nearby is where we usually grab a quick break when things get quiet in the afternoon. It isn't a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy and we get to talk to all sorts of folks. We don't have a big corporate manual. We just do things as they come. Sometimes the computer acts up or the internet is slow, but that’s just how it goes here in Patna. We keep the doors open and try to help anyone who walks in with a question about their travel plans. It's a simple life.
