Gentlemen Salon

Gentlemen Salon is over at Mig-11 in the Kankarbagh Colony. This is Patna, so it gets pretty busy around here. We’re right near that SBI ATM, which is a good landmark for people who haven't been here before. The shop is a straightforward barber spot. We have the old-style chairs that lean back. They’re a bit heavy to move, but they’re solid. We do haircuts and shaves mainly. It’s a man’s space, mostly quiet except for the clippers and the occasional chat about the weather or local news. The walls are a plain color. We didn't spend much on decorating because that’s not why people come here. They just want their hair sorted out. Kankarbagh is a big area, but we’re in a steady part of it. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, so we keep a broom handy at all times. We open early most days. Some of the guys have been coming to us for years. We aren't trying to be the most modern place in Patna, just a place where you can get a decent shave. Sometimes the sink leaks a little, but we put a bucket under it. It works. The mirrors are big so you can see what’s going on. It’s just a shop in the colony. We do our work, talk to the neighbors, and close up when the sun goes down. It’s just how we live.
