Counter Staff

This place is run out of a spot in Musallahpur, Patna. We are located at the address for Chandra Mohan Pd., near the Mahendru post office. The area is quite traditional and busy, as you’d expect for this part of Bihar. Our group handles the counter staff side of things. It’s a very simple setup. We don't have a big corporate sign or a fancy entrance. It is more like a small office in a neighborhood building. Inside, there are just a few tables and chairs. We spend the day dealing with people coming in and out, mostly locals who need help with various tasks. It’s a bit dusty because of the road works nearby, but we keep things as clean as we can. We have a rhythm to the day, starting with the morning mail and ending when the sun goes down. There isn't much in the way of high-tech gadgets here; we rely on old-fashioned notebooks and a couple of computers that have seen better days. The team is just a few guys who have known each other for a long time. We drink a lot of tea and talk about what’s happening in the city while we work. It’s an honest place where we just try to be helpful to anyone who walks through the door. It’s not a complicated business model, just people serving people in a very direct way. We have been here for years and the neighbors all know our faces by now.
