Bihar Hotels Limited

Our office for Bihar Hotels Limited is right by South Gandhi Maidan in Patna. It’s a busy part of town, always something going on outside the windows. We’ve been operating from this spot for quite some years. It’s not a hotel itself, but it’s where all the boring paperwork and planning happens for what we do. You’ll find us easily if you know the Maidan area. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep, and the hallway always smells a little like tea because we drink a lot of it while working. Sometimes the noise from the street rallies or the traffic makes it hard to hear on the phone, but that’s just Patna for you. We keep old files in big metal cabinets that creak every time you open them. My uncle started this whole thing a long time ago. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just handle our business and try to keep things organized. Usually, there are three or four of us here during the day typing away or talking to vendors. It’s a practical space. No rugs or fancy paintings on the walls, just calendars and some maps of the city. If you come by, you’ll probably see us sorting through mail or arguing about the electricity bill. It’s a local operation through and through, and we like being right in the middle of everything near the park. We keep the doors open until six.
