We are situated in the Mithapur area of Patna. You can find us at Lucky Mauriwala, near the old Bhanamill. The office is care of Sri Krishna Murari Prasad. It is an older building and we have been here for quite some time. We handle banking matters that mostly concern land and local development. It is a lot of manual work, writing in big registers and stamping documents. We don't have the high-tech systems that you see in the city center banks. Our customers are mostly local farmers and landowners who have been coming to us for years. The office has high ceilings and large windows, but it still gets quite stuffy in the afternoons. We have a lot of wooden furniture that is very sturdy. There are stacks of files on almost every surface. We spend our day talking to people about their accounts and helping them fill out forms. Sometimes the ink on the stamps gets everywhere. The noise from the Mithapur streets comes right inside, so it is never really quiet. We know most of the people who walk through the door. It is a slow and steady kind of work. We don't have any fancy signs or advertisements. We just do our business and help the people who come to see us. It is just a normal bank in a busy part of Patna.
