Anugrah Narayan College

Anugrah Narayan College is right on Boring Road, and if you've ever been to Patna, you know that means it's right in the middle of everything. The traffic outside is constant, and the noise never really stops. We’ve been here in Patliputra for a long, long time. The college is a big place, and it’s always crowded. You’ve got students everywhere—sitting on the stairs, standing by the gate, or rushing to the labs. It’s a bit of an old building, so we’re always dealing with things like peeling paint or a fan that won't stop clicking. We don't have a team of people making the place look like a five-star hotel. It’s a government-aided college, so things are pretty basic and functional. We spend our time sorting out admissions, dealing with the university paperwork, and trying to keep some order in the chaos. The staff room is usually a hub of activity with everyone talking over each other. It’s an honest, busy place. We aren't trying to sell anyone a dream; we’re just providing a place to study in a city that’s always on the move. Most of us have lived in Patna our whole lives, and this college is just a part of the city’s bones. It’s messy, loud, and very real. We just show up, do the work, and hope the students learn something before they head out into the busy streets again.
