Amritansh Gyan Niketan

We have been running Amritansh Gyan Niketan here in Rajendar Nagar for quite some time now. It’s not a big fancy school with a lot of shiny equipment. It is just a simple place where local kids from this part of Patna come to learn their lessons every day. The building is an older one and we do our best to keep it tidy. Every morning, the street gets busy with parents dropping off their children. Sometimes the gate squeaks a bit when it opens, but we are used to it. Inside, the rooms are plain with standard desks and chairs. We don’t have a big playground, so the kids usually just gather in the common area during their breaks. Patna gets really dusty and hot in the summers, so the ceiling fans are always running at full speed. We try to keep the books in the small library organized, though the kids often mix them up. It’s a very local operation and we know most of the families who live around Rajendar Nagar. We don’t have a marketing team or a website that looks professional. It’s just us teachers and a few staff members making sure things go smoothly from one day to the next. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to open all the windows and carry on with the teaching. It is just a regular, everyday school that serves the neighborhood without much fuss or any big corporate backing behind us at Patna 800026.
