Our setup here in Baroda is a bit specific. We are located over at Shobhna Nagar, specifically at number 4 on Vasna Road. It's funny because the name says Mumbai, but Shailesh and the rest of us spend our days here in Gujarat. Engineering work takes up most of our time. We spend a lot of hours looking at parts and technical drawings. It's the kind of job where you get your hands dirty sometimes. The office is tucked away near Alfa Laval, so we see a lot of the same faces every morning. Baroda is a decent place to work. It’s not as fast as Mumbai, which is probably a good thing for the kind of precision we need. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. It's mostly just space for the equipment and where we sit to talk about the projects. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when a big order comes in. We just move some chairs around and make it work. Most of us have been doing this for years now. We know the local shops for lunch and where to get the best chai when we need a break. We just focus on the engineering side of things and try to keep everything running without too much trouble. It’s practical work. We aren't here for show, just here to do the engineering tasks that come our way at Airworks.
