Nazareth College Of Pharmacy

Down in Othera, near Thiruvalla, you will find Nazareth College Of Pharmacy. It is tucked away in the Pathanamthitta district of Kerala, and honestly, it is a pretty quiet spot most of the time. We spend our days dealing with heavy textbooks, lab equipment, and plenty of chemicals. The students here are usually busy with their practical exams or sitting quietly in the library trying to finish their work. It is not a massive campus with shiny glass buildings, but it works perfectly for what we need. The staff rooms are often cluttered with piles of papers and old registers. We have been a part of this Kerala community for some time now. People know us as the place where the future pharmacists go to study. Sometimes the heavy rain here in Pathanamthitta makes things a bit damp, but classes keep going regardless of the weather. We do not spend much time on decorations or fancy advertisements. Most people find out about us through word of mouth or because they live nearby in Othera. The labs have that specific smell of medicine and cleaning supplies. It is a very practical place. We focus on getting the students through their courses so they can find work. There is a lot of studying involved and the atmosphere is usually quite serious, though you will hear some laughing in the canteen during the lunch break.
