C M S Higher Secondary School

Sitting right on the Mallappally Kozhenchery Road in Mallappally West, our school has been around for a long time. C M S Higher Secondary School is a familiar place for families in this part of Pathanamthitta. The buildings show their age, featuring those high ceilings and heavy wooden doors that have seen many years of students. Every morning, the sound of kids walking from the bus stop signals the start of the day. It gets very lively once that first bell rings. Teachers are usually in the staff room early, busy correcting papers or sharing a quick cup of tea before class. When the monsoon hits, the place is full of umbrellas and wet shoes, but the routine never stops. We have a yard out back where the students play, and it gets pretty loud during the lunch break. This is a very local school, and we often see parents who were students here themselves years ago. We don't have any modern glass walls or fancy designs. It is mostly just stone and concrete. The office stays busy with parents coming in for certificates or asking about exam dates. We just try to keep things running smoothly so the students can focus on their lessons. Mallappally is a small town, and the school is just one of those local spots everyone knows.
