Azeezia Medical College

Azeezia Medical College is located in the Meeyannoor area of Kollam, down in Kerala. The campus is surrounded by a lot of greenery, which is pretty common for this part of the country. When the monsoon hits, the whole place gets very wet and lush, and the sound of rain on the roofs is constant. It’s a medical college, so you always see students walking around in their white coats with stethoscopes around their necks. They look busy and a bit tired most of the time. The main hospital building is where the real action is, with patients coming in from the nearby villages and towns. It can get quite crowded in the waiting areas, and the fans are always spinning to keep the humidity at bay. We have different departments for all sorts of ailments, and the doctors are usually rushing between the wards and the classrooms. The canteen is a popular spot for a quick tea and some snacks, and that’s where you hear most of the gossip and talk about upcoming exams. The buildings are modern enough but have started to show some wear from the heavy Kerala rains. It’s a serious place because of the work being done, but there’s still a sense of local life with the coconut trees swaying in the background. It’s just a place where people come to learn medicine and help the local community stay healthy.
