Being right by the P G Medical Hospital gate in Midnapore Town means there is never a quiet moment. We are located right where all the action is, with people coming and going constantly. It is a bit of a trek to get through the crowds sometimes, especially in the mornings when the hospital shifts change. Our office here is just a simple setup for the local operations of Punj Lloyd Ltd. We handle a lot of the logistical bits for the projects happening in this part of Paschim Medinipur. Inside, it’s mostly just desks piled with papers and some old filing cabinets that have seen better days. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but nobody really has the time to think about that. We usually grab lunch from the small stalls nearby since there are so many options right outside the gate. It gets pretty hot during the summer months, and the ceiling fans just barely keep the air moving. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with workers and suppliers. It’s a busy life here in Midnapore. We don't really do anything flashy. It's just a place where the work gets sorted out so the projects can keep moving. If you’re looking for us, just find the hospital gate and we are right there in the middle of it all. It’s a very practical location even if it’s a bit noisy for some folks.
