Our location for Larsen And Toubro is tucked away in Vill: Khasrekha. To get here, you have to head toward the Joybalarampur post office in the Purba Medinipur district. It is a very rural area, quite different from the big city offices people usually associate with a company like this. Being in a village means things are a lot slower and more grounded. You see a lot of green fields and open space around us, which is a nice change of pace. We don't have a lot of the amenities you’d find in a city center, but we have what we need to stay productive. The locals know us as the people working at the village site. It’s a tight-knit community, so news travels fast and everyone knows everyone else’s business. We mostly just focus on our daily routines, keeping the paperwork in order and making sure the local operations are running as they should. Sometimes the rain during the monsoon season makes the roads a bit muddy and tricky to navigate, but we manage to get through it. It’s an honest way to work, being right there in the middle of the district where you can see the real impact of the projects. We don't put on any airs; it’s just a small group of us doing our jobs in Khasrekha. It might be a bit out of the way for some, but for us, it’s just where we go to work every morning without much drama.
