If you go to Redgaon in the Kalamnuri area of Parbhani, you will find Tanmay Farmer Producer Company Limited. We operate out of the home of Shri Baburao Gangaram. It is a very local setup, and most people in the village just walk over if they need to talk to us. Parbhani is a place where farming is everything, but it can be a real struggle when the rains don't come on time. We started this producer company because we were tired of being at the mercy of middle men who didn't understand the work we put into the dirt. At Redgaon, we gather around and share what we know about the different seeds and the pests that are bothering the crops this season. The house is usually full of people coming and going, especially during the sowing season. We don't have a fancy website or a big sign, just our name on the documents and a desire to work together. It is a bit loud and chaotic sometimes, with everyone talking at once, but that is just how our community is.
