Karpara Agro Producer Company Limited is based at the house of Shri Gulabrao Wamanrao in Chandaj. This is in the Jintur area of Parbhani district. We are a local group of producers. We aren’t a big company with a lot of money. Most of our work happens out in the fields of Chandaj. When we need to do the business side of things, we go to Gulabrao’s place. It’s a simple setup. We sit around and figure out the logistics for the crops. Parbhani is where we’ve all grown up. We know the land and the problems that come with it. We started this company to give us a bit more strength when dealing with buyers. It’s not always easy to coordinate everything. We have disagreements sometimes about what to plant or when to sell. But we are all neighbors, so we work it out. The office is just a part of the house. We don’t have fancy equipment. Just some notebooks and a phone. We are focused on the day-to-day tasks.
