Dnyanai Krushivikas Mahila Producer Company Limited is based out of the Asegaon Bori Unit in Jintur. We operate from the place of Shri Laxmanrao Yadevrao. This is a mahila company, which means it’s mostly the women from the villages around Jintur who are calling the shots. We noticed that the women do a lot of the actual work in the fields but rarely have a say in the business part of it. So, we started this to change that. It is located in a simple building in Asegaon Bori. We don't have air conditioning or fancy chairs. Most of the time, the room is full of women talking about the seeds, the poultry, or the milk rates. Laxmanrao helps us out with the space and the heavy lifting when we need it. It’s a bit of a drive from the main town, and the roads aren't always great, especially when it rains. But we all manage to get there. We are just local women trying to make sure our families have a bit more security. We aren't experts in business talk, but we know how to grow things and how to save money. If you visit, it might look a bit chaotic with kids running around or bags of grain in the corner, but we are getting things done. It is about helping each other out in the village.
