Shree Jiwaji Maharaj Farmer Producer Company Limited

Shree Jiwaji Maharaj Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of House Number 35 in Taltumba. That is in the Sailu Taluka of Parbhani district. It is a small place but it serves us well for what we need to do. A bunch of us farmers from the Taltumba area got together to start this because it makes sense to work as a team. We deal with the daily struggles of farming in this part of Maharashtra, where the sun can be quite hot and the water is always something we have to plan for carefully. We are not interested in sounding like a big city business. We are just local people who grew up around here and know the soil. At the house in Taltumba, we keep track of what everyone is growing and try to find ways to get our produce moved at the right time. Parbhani is known for its agriculture and we are just one small part of that tradition. You can usually find someone at the office during the day, unless it is a heavy work day out in the fields. We talk about the price of fertilizer or which crops might do better this year given the rain we had. It is straightforward work. There are no fancy offices or suits here, just plain clothes and a lot of talk about the land. We just want to keep things moving along for everyone involved in our little group.
