Nemane Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are based at House Number 23 in Salapuri. It’s a small village and everyone knows where everyone else lives. Nemane Farmer Producer Company Limited is just a group of us from the local area. We don’t have a big office building or any big signs out front. Most people just know to come to the house if they need to talk to us about the farming business. We spend a lot of time talking about the water levels and what the market is doing in the bigger towns nearby. It's a simple setup. We have a few ledgers and a lot of patience. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we can't always check the prices online right away. We rely on what we hear from the truck drivers who come through. It’s not a fancy life. We wear our everyday clothes and we don't mind getting our hands dirty. The work is mostly about coordinating between the different farms around Salapuri. We try to group our produce together to make it easier to sell. It’s hard to get everyone on the same page sometimes, but we manage. We aren't trying to act like a big corporation. We are just neighbors working together. Some days are better than others, especially when the harvest is good and the prices are fair. We just take it one day at a time and see what happens with the next crop. There's always a lot of dust in the air, but that's part of living here. We just keep going.
