Matrutirth Asha Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited is based at Asha Rustum Maghade’s house, which is House Number 3 in Jijamata Nagar. We are located in Sindkhed Raja, a place with a lot of history and old traditions. This company is a group effort by local farmers who wanted to do something together instead of struggling alone. Asha Niwas is where we keep our papers and where everyone gathers when we have news about prices or seeds. We are not a big corporation with lots of money. We are just people from Sindkhed Raja who know how to grow crops and want to do it a little better. Sometimes we have meetings in the evening after everyone is done working in the fields. We talk about the rain, the soil, and how much things cost these days. It is a practical business, born out of a need to help our families survive. We don't use a lot of fancy words because we are too busy working the land. The house in Jijamata Nagar is a busy place during certain times of the year when the harvest is coming in. We are just trying to make sure the farmers around here get a fair deal for their sweat. It’s not always easy to manage everything, and we make mistakes sometimes, but we learn as we go. We are proud of where we come from and the work we do.
