Mainapuri Farmers Producer Companylimited

Our company, Mainapuri Farmers, is based at Post Chandaj in the Jintur taluka of Parbhani. We work out of Manikrao Devidasrao’s place. In this part of Parbhani, farming is pretty much everything, so we decided to form this group to help each other out with the daily grind. It’s not easy being a farmer these days with the costs of seeds and fertilizer going up all the time. We are a small group of producers who just want to make sure we can sell our harvests for a decent price without getting taken advantage of. We don't have a corporate office with air conditioning and glass walls. Our meetings usually happen in the shade of a tree or on a porch when the sun is high. We talk about what seeds are working and how to get the tractors fixed without spending a fortune. It’s a very hands-on life and that's just how we like it. We don't have any polished marketing materials or a fancy website to show off. We just have our names and our reputation in the village of Chandaj. It's a quiet place, and we like it that way. We are just trying to do our best by our families and our land. The paperwork for the company can be a real headache, but we manage it between the chores. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't.
