Krushitantra Farmers Producer Companylimited is based in Girgaon, over in the Parbhani district. You can find us care of Ramrao Kundlikrao's place. We are just a group of local people who decided it was time to work together on the farming side of things. Parbhani can be a tough place for farming sometimes with the heat and the water issues, so having this company helps us share the load. We don't have a big staff, it’s mostly just us doing the work ourselves. We spend our mornings in the fields and then maybe meet up in the afternoon to sort out the paperwork or talk to the suppliers. It’s a very hands-on kind of life. We are trying to cut out some of the people who take a cut of our profits before the produce even leaves the village. It's a slow process and we are learning as we go. Some things we do well, other things we are still figuring out. We don’t use any fancy talk here. We just care about the soil and making sure we can sell what we grow for a decent price. It’s a quiet life in Girgaon, but we stay busy with the day to day tasks. If you need to reach us, just head towards the village and ask for Ramrao’s place. We are usually around somewhere, either in the field or dealing with the bags of grain at the house.
