You can find us at Shri Prakash Nagorao Nagargoje’s place in Ghatnandur. It is part of the Ambajogai taluka. Gaganbhedi Farmer Producer Company Limited is the name of our group. We are really just a collection of local farmers trying to make things a bit better for ourselves and our families. Working out of a home like this makes the whole thing feel very personal. We know everyone who comes through the door by their first name. Ghatnandur is where we live and where we do our work every day. We don't have any big corporate goals or those fancy mission statements you see in city offices. We just want to be able to sell our crops for a decent price and buy our farming supplies without getting cheated. It is a simple goal but it actually takes a lot of hard work to get it right. Sometimes we spend the whole afternoon just sitting and talking about the weather or the new rules from the government. It is a slow pace but it suits the way we live here. We are not experts in business, we are experts in farming the land. We learn the business side of things as we go along. It has been a long journey for all of us. Being in Ambajogai gives us a good base to work from for everything we do.
