Dheyawadi Mahila Farmer Producer Companylimited

We are a group of women from around Koulgaon and Purna who decided to start Dheyawadi Mahila Farmer Producer Companylimited a little while back. Most of us have spent our whole lives working in the fields here in Parbhani, so we figured it was about time we teamed up to handle the business side of things ourselves. Our office is actually over at Keshav Munjaji Dudhmal’s place, which makes it easy for everyone to drop by when they need to. It’s not a big fancy office with glass doors or anything like that. Just a quiet spot where we sit down and talk about what crops are doing well or what we need to buy for the next season. Being in a small place like Koulgaon means we all know each other anyway. Some days it gets pretty noisy with everyone talking at once, but that is just how we get things done. We deal with the seeds, the harvests, and all the paperwork that comes with running a producer company. It is a lot more work than we expected when we first signed the papers. Sometimes the electricity goes out or the rains don't come when they should, and we have to figure out a new plan on the fly. We are just trying to make sure the women here get a fair deal for the hard work they put into the soil every day. It's just us, working together in Parbhani.
