Our company, Dadarao Bergude Farmer Producer Company Limited, is run through the care of Shri Ashok Dadasaheb Bergude. We are located at Daithana Kh in the Partur area, 431501. It is a local operation through and through. We started this because the farmers around here needed a way to work together instead of everyone just doing their own thing and hoping for something to work out. It’s named after Dadarao Bergude, and we try to keep that local spirit in everything we do. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. Most of our meetings happen right there in Daithana Kh, often over tea or while we are checking on things. It’s a simple way of doing business, but it’s what we know. We don’t use a lot of big words to describe what we do because the work speaks for itself. We are just trying to get good results for our members and make sure the farming stays profitable in our part of Partur. Some days are harder than others, especially when the rain doesn't come or the prices aren't right. But having the company gives us a bit more strength. We are just regular people who know the land and want to keep our traditions going while using some better business practices. It’s not a complicated story, but it’s ours. We keep things moving and stay busy with the seasons and the hard work.
