Royal Carpets

We’ve been here at Royal Carpets for quite a while now. Our spot is right across the Pakka Canal in the Sondhapur Ind. Area, just off Jatal Road. It’s a busy part of town, but we’ve gotten used to the noise and the rhythm of the place. Mostly, we just spend our days dealing with different types of rugs and floor coverings. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at, but it gets the job done, I guess. People usually find us after crossing the bridge near the canal. It’s a straightforward setup. We have piles of stock here and there, and the air usually smells like wool and jute. Sometimes the dust gets a bit much, but that’s just how it is when you’re working with these materials every day. We don’t really do much in the way of big advertising or anything like that. Folks just show up when they need something for their floors. Usually, it’s locals from the nearby areas or someone who’s heard about us from a neighbor. We keep the doors open, talk to whoever walks in, and try to help them find what they’re looking for without making a big fuss about it. If you’re coming from Jatal Road, just look for the canal and you’ll find us easily enough. We’re usually around most of the day, just doing the work and keeping things moving anyway. It’s a simple life here in Sondhapur, and we like it that way.
