If you’re looking for us, we’re up on the second floor of N.K. Tower. Room number 6, specifically. It’s on Ib Collage Road, which gets pretty crowded during the day. Home Decor is basically just a few of us working in a small space. We have piles of samples and catalogs everywhere. It might look a bit messy to an outsider, but we know where everything is. We started this because we liked working with things that make a house feel a bit better. We aren't some big chain store. It’s just a local office where we talk to customers and figure out what they need for their rooms. The stairs in the tower can be a bit steep, but we’re used to them. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at fabrics. Some days are quiet, and other days it feels like everyone is calling at once. We don't have a big showroom with bright lights. Most of our work happens at this desk or out visiting sites. We grew up around here, so we know the neighborhood well. It’s a practical way to earn a living. We just try to be helpful when someone walks through the door. Usually, it's people from the nearby college or families living on the side streets. We keep it simple and just focus on the job at hand. It's just us doing what we can.
