Luxmi Overseas

We are located out on Pasina Khurd Road in Sewah. It’s a bit of a drive from the main town, and the road can be a bit bumpy depending on the season. Luxmi Overseas is the name on the gate, but most people just know us as the place that handles the blankets and textiles. It’s a fairly large space because we need the room for the machinery and the raw materials. The air usually smells a bit like wool and dust. We start our shift quite early, usually when the sun is just coming up. It’s a lot of physical work, moving things around and making sure the looms are running properly. We have a lot of local workers from the surrounding villages. We don’t really do any fancy marketing or have a polished office. There’s a small room with a desk and a couple of chairs where we handle the paperwork. Most of the day is spent on the floor seeing how the production is going. When it rains, the sound on the metal roof is so loud you can’t hear yourself think. We just keep working through it. It’s a practical life here. We focus on getting the orders ready for shipping. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we know how to do. We usually wrap up as the sun starts to go down.
