Shubha Marbles

Our place, Shubha Marbles, is located in the Rani Industrial Area 5. It is not the kind of place you’d go for a stroll because it’s full of factories and big trucks. We’ve got a good amount of space here where we keep our inventory laid out. Most of the time it is just us and a couple of guys helping with the heavy lifting and the cutting. The sun gets pretty hot out here in the open, but we have some shade where we sit and talk to the people who come by. We get all kinds of stone coming in and we just arrange them so people can see the patterns. It’s a lot of physical labor every single day. We don't have a big office with air conditioning, just a small desk and some chairs. People usually find us when they are building something big or fixing up their floors. We keep things very basic and don’t go in for any of that high-pressure selling. We just show what’s on the lot and let the stone speak for itself. It gets noisy with the neighboring workshops, but that’s just part of being in an industrial zone. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t even notice the sound anymore. We just stay focused on moving the slabs and getting through the day's tasks.
