S. R. Granites

Our office is at 82 Vasant Vihar. It is a decent area, and we have made our home here for the granite business. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is probably the weight of the place. Granite is not light, and even though we are in a residential-feeling area, the work is heavy. We have slabs leaning against the walls, and the floor always has a bit of grit on it from the stone. S. R. Granites is basically just us working through the orders and making sure the stone gets to where it is supposed to go. We spend a lot of time on the phone with the quarry guys. It is a lot of waiting for trucks and then a lot of rushing when they finally show up. The mornings are usually spent drinking tea and going over the schedule. We do not have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy things about us. It is just the reality of moving stone from one place to another. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to work outside, but we manage. Vasant Vihar is a good spot, and we know most of the people around here. We just keep things simple. We have the granite, we have the measurements, and we have the customers. There is not much more to it than that. We just show up every day, open the doors, and get to work with the stone that is in front of us.
