Out here in Riico Industrial Area Phase Lv, at G 50/51, you’ll find our yard and warehouse. Ratnam Granite Marbles Pvt Ltd has been dealing with stone for a long time now. It’s heavy work and can get pretty dusty, especially when the machines are running full tilt. We spend most of our days moving slabs around and checking the quality of the marble coming in. There is a lot of noise from the cutting saws, so we usually have to shout to hear each other over the engines. We aren't a showroom with bright lights and fancy displays. Most of the stone is just stacked up where we have room for it. Customers usually come down here themselves to pick out exactly which piece they want for their floors or counters. Every slab is a bit different, so it takes time to find the right one. Our crew knows the difference between the various grades of granite, and we’re happy to show people what we have in stock. It’s not a glamorous business, but it's honest. We deal with builders and homeowners alike. The sun beats down on the yard in the afternoon, making the stone hot to the touch, but that’s just part of the environment. We stay busy with orders and deliveries throughout the week. If you need some solid stone, we’re usually around from early morning until the gates close in the evening.
