Nurani Marbles

If you are heading down Rani Kenpura Road, you will probably see our stacks of stone out front. We’ve been running Nurani Marbles from this spot for quite some years. It is a dusty business, honestly. Marble and granite everywhere you look. We spend most of our mornings moving slabs around so people can see the patterns. It’s heavy work and my back feels it by the end of the day. We get a lot of local builders and people just fixing up their own kitchens or floors. It isn't a fancy showroom with air conditioning and coffee. It's more of an open yard where you can see the actual material in the sunlight. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the entrance for a bit while we are loading. That’s just how it goes here. We have different types of stone coming in from different places. Some days it is quiet and I just sit and look at the stock, and other days three people want things at once. I try to give everyone a fair price and show them what will last. The road gets busy around here, but we are easy to spot because of the white dust. If you need something for a floor or a counter, we are usually around from morning until evening. It's just a basic business run by people who know stone. I usually wear boots because the water used to cut stone makes a mess. It's just how we do it.
