U. V. Impex

You can find U. V. Impex over at the 8th Cloth Market. If you’ve ever been to this market, you know how loud and crowded it gets in the mornings. There are stacks of fabric everywhere you look and people pushing carts through the narrow lanes. Our space is tucked in there with the rest of them. We’ve been dealing with imports and exports from this spot for a long time. It’s not a quiet office. You hear the sounds of the market all day long, from the shouting and the horns. We spend most of our time looking at samples and talking to traders who come through. Sometimes the shipments get delayed and we have to spend the whole afternoon on the phone trying to figure out where the containers are. That’s just how it goes in this trade. The tea stall nearby is where we get our energy from every day. We aren't trying to be the biggest name out there, just trying to keep the business running and making sure our clients get their cloth on time. The building is old and the stairs are a bit steep, but it’s home to us. We know the other shopkeepers and we help each other out when someone needs a hand moving heavy rolls of fabric. It’s a busy life at the 8th Cloth Market, but it suits us fine and we know the business inside out.
