Maajisa Fancey Store

Maajisa Fancey Store is located right in the middle of Indra Colony. Since it is a residential neighborhood, we know almost every single person who walks through our door. It is not like those big shops in the main market where everyone is a total stranger. Here, we know which of our neighbors is getting married soon or who needs a new set of matching bangles for a local festival. The shop is actually part of the same building where my family lives, so it is very convenient for us. I usually open the shutters around nine in the morning after I have finished up with the morning household chores and breakfast. We keep a good variety of fancy items, mostly things for the women and children who live nearby. The shelves are made of simple plywood that we have covered with some colorful paper to make them look a bit better. It is not a very large space, so we cannot keep massive amounts of stock, but we try to have a little bit of everything. Sometimes the local kids come in just to look at the small toys we have, and I do not mind it as long as they are careful. The street outside is usually quite peaceful, except for when a vegetable vendor passes by with his cart. It is a very quiet way to run a small business. We do not have a big fancy sign, just a small one.
