Ram Singh

Sojat City is a quiet place most of the time compared to the big metros. I’m Ram Singh and I work out of Bagawas. Most people here know each other, so there isn’t much need for big advertisements or anything like that. I just do my work and try to stay busy. My day usually starts with a walk around the area to see what's happening. The dust in Bagawas can be a bit much when the wind picks up, so I’m always cleaning off my workspace. It’s just a simple setup I have here. I don't have a team of secretaries or a big computer system. I keep my records in a notebook and try to remember faces. It gets very hot in the summer months, so work slows down in the middle of the day. That is when I usually take a nap or sit in the shade with a glass of water. People stop by to chat more than to work sometimes, but that’s just how life is in a smaller town. I’ve been in this spot for years and I don’t see myself moving anywhere else. It’s not fancy, but it belongs to me. Sometimes I think about painting the walls, but then I get busy with something else and forget about it. It’s just me, Ram Singh, doing what I can in Sojat City. It's a simple life and I like it.
