Khusbu Fancy Store

Khusbu Fancy Store is located right in the middle of Sardar Bazar in Rohat. It is easy to find us if you are walking near the main market area. We have been at this same spot for quite a few years now. The shop is filled with various things like basic cosmetics, hair accessories, and some small gift items. It is a bit cluttered inside because we try to fit as much as we can into a small area. We aren't big on decorations or anything like that. Just simple wooden shelves and a few glass cases for the more expensive things. The roof leaks a tiny bit when it rains very hard in the monsoon, but we manage to keep the stock dry. Rohat is a small town, so everyone knows everyone else. We know our neighbors in the bazar quite well. Usually, the mornings are slow and things only pick up in the evening when people finish their work. We don't have a computer or any modern system. We just write everything down in our books. It is much simpler that way for us. My son helps me out during his school holidays. He often wants to change how we do things, but I like the shop the way it is. We keep the prices fair for everyone. If someone is short a few rupees, we usually let it slide. That is how things work in Sardar Bazar. We see the same people every day.
