Hari Bags

We've been at 104 Subhash Chouraha for a while now. It's right on Station Road, so it gets pretty busy. If you’re looking for a bag, we have plenty of them hanging up all over the place. We’ve got backpacks for kids going to school and bigger ones if you’re traveling. Some people just want a simple wallet or a small purse. The shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot in. You’ll see the sign when you get to the crossroads. The traffic outside can be a bit much sometimes with all the rickshaws and people heading to the station, but that’s just how it is here. We spend a lot of our day tidying up the straps and making sure things aren't getting too dusty from the road. It’s a lot of work keeping everything organized. Sometimes the rain comes down hard and we have to move everything back from the front. We just try to help people find what they need. If a zipper is stuck, we show them how to fix it or find a better one. It's just us here most days, dealing with whoever walks in off the street. It feels good when someone finds a bag they actually like and it fits all their stuff. We don't do anything fancy, just keep the doors open and the bags ready. If you are near the Chouraha, you can't really miss us.
