Mahima Fancy Store

We are located at 134 Ramdev Road. Mahima Fancy Store has been a part of this street for quite a while now. The road itself is usually very busy with people walking towards the temple nearby. Our shop is basically just one single room with wooden shelves lining all three of the walls from top to bottom. We sell all sorts of fancy goods like bindis, hair ribbons, some cosmetics, and small gift items for birthdays. I spend a lot of my free time cleaning the glass jars that we use to keep the smaller items organized. Dust is a constant problem when you are located right on Ramdev Road with all the traffic. I have a small wooden stool that I sit on near the entrance so I can easily see when people are coming in. We do not have any fancy music playing or any bright decorations. The walls are fairly plain, but they are covered in so many different products that you can hardly see the paint color anyway. During the rainy season, the roof sometimes leaks just a little bit in the far corner, so we have to be careful to move the cardboard boxes out of the way so they don't get wet. It is just one of those things you have to deal with when owning an old shop. I usually close up for an hour in the middle of the day to go home.
