About Guru Kripa Cement – Building & Construction Material in Pali
In Ranakpur Sadri, everyone knows where we are located. Dealing in cement bags isn't the cleanest job, but someone has to do it for the community. The shop gets covered in that fine grey powder every single day, no matter how much we sweep the floors. It gets into your clothes and your hair by the time the sun goes down. We handle mostly bags of cement for the local construction happening around the village and the further outskirts. When a truck arrives from the factory, it’s a big job for us to get everything unloaded and stacked properly so the bags don't get damp from the ground. Rain is our biggest enemy here. If the sky looks dark, we’re all running around grabbing heavy plastic sheets to cover the stock. There’s a tea stall just down the road where we go when it’s quiet for a bit. Most of the people who come in are just looking to fix a wall or maybe add a room to their house. We don't do much talking, just load the bags and settle the bill. It's honest work and it keeps the lights on for us. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat about the local news while we’re moving things around. The floor is always rough and the air is dry, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We just keep the stacks high and wait for the next customer to pull up.
