Aashapura Cement Sales

We sell cement here in Rani. It’s a straightforward business. We have a storage area where we keep the bags stacked up. People come by with their trucks or tractors to pick up what they need for their building projects. We handle a few different brands, whatever is available and what people are asking for. The shop isn't much to look at, mostly just piles of heavy bags and some paperwork on a desk. It’s dusty work, as you can imagine. Cement gets everywhere, no matter how much you clean. We’ve been in Rani for a good while, so we know most of the local builders and farmers who are putting up new sheds or fixing their houses. We don't have a big marketing team or anything. We just open up in the morning and wait for the customers. Sometimes the deliveries are late, and we have to tell people to come back the next day. That’s just how the supply chain goes sometimes. We try to be helpful and load the bags if we have the extra hands. It’s heavy work, but it’s what we do. The town is small enough that word of mouth is how we get most of our business. We stay busy during the construction season and things quiet down when the rains come. It’s a simple life running a cement yard in a place like this. No frills, just bags of concrete and a lot of lifting. We keep the inventory moving as fast as we can. It is a long day but the work keeps us busy.
