Abhinav Enterprises Abhishek Cement

Operating out of the Housing Board area right along the Jodhpur Highway means we see a lot of trucks and heavy vehicles passing by all day. Abhinav Enterprises Abhishek Cement is located right where the action is, though it can get pretty dusty with all the wind coming off the road. We deal with heavy bags of cement mostly, so the floor is usually covered in a thin layer of gray powder. It’s hard work and the sun can be quite brutal out here on the highway. We have a small office space carved out in the front where we keep the paperwork, but most of the activity happens in the back or out on the loading area. The Housing Board neighborhood is a mix of people living and working, so there is always a sense of movement. We don't really have time for anything polished or fancy. Our hands are usually dirty by ten in the morning, and that’s just how it goes when you’re handling cement. The sign outside has seen better days because of the Jodhpur sun, but everyone around here knows where we are. We just focus on getting the orders out and making sure the inventory is right. It’s a plain, honest spot where the work is physical and the days are long. We like being near the highway because it keeps us connected to the rest of the route.
