Sai Pizza & Frankie Corner

We have our small shop in Mira Road. It’s called Sai Pizza & Frankie Corner. We aren't in one of those big shopping malls. We are just on a regular street where people walk by. I set this up a few years ago. We have a small electric oven for the pizzas and a flat tawa for the frankies. The dough is made every morning in a big plastic tub. It’s a lot of stretching and rolling. Mira Road has become so crowded lately, so there are always people around. In the evenings, we get a lot of kids who want something quick to eat. The shop is quite small, so it gets cramped when there are more than three people inside. I usually stand by the counter and my cousin handles the frankie station. We have a few stools outside on the sidewalk for people to sit. The lighting isn't very bright, just some tubelights. We don't have a fancy logo or anything like that. We just have the menu printed on a board. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in. It’s just a normal neighborhood spot. We see the same faces every week. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town, just a place that's open when you're hungry. We stay open until the dough runs out for the day.
