Surabhi Salon

My sister and I have been running Surabhi Salon for quite some time now. We are located right at Shop No 6 in the Main Market of Phase 1. It’s a busy area, especially being so close to the Hanuman Mandir here in Budh Vihar. People usually stop by while they’re out doing their regular shopping. We just do our work and keep the place tidy. There isn't much to say, we just open up every morning and wait for the regulars to show up. It gets crowded on weekends because of the market, but that’s how it is. Sometimes the fans make noise but we get them fixed when we can find a repairman. Most of our tools are kept in the drawers under the mirrors, and we try to organize them every night. We've stayed in this same spot for years. The Hanuman Mandir is a good landmark if you're trying to find us for the first time. We just take care of whoever walks through the door. The floor gets dusty with all the people coming in from the street, so we sweep a lot during the day. It is just a small shop, nothing fancy or big. We have a couple of chairs and a small bench for people to wait on while we finish up. Most of the neighbors know us by now. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. We just stay here in Budh Vihar and do what we do. It’s a simple life for us. We close up when the market lights start going off.
