Beauty Planet Beauty Parlour

Up in Rohini at H 1/232, that’s where Beauty Planet Beauty Parlour is situated. It’s a residential area mostly, so we get a lot of people from the nearby blocks. It’s nice because you get to know the neighbors. We’ve been here at H 1 for a good while. The shop is on the ground floor, so it’s easy for everyone to get in. We have a couple of hair stations and a place for facials in the back. It’s not a huge place, but it’s ours. The morning starts with opening the shutters and letting some air in. Rohini can get quite hot in the summer, so we have a cooler that we fill up with water every day. It makes a bit of noise but it keeps the place decent for the customers. We have a little desk where we keep the bills and the phone. Most of our customers just drop by without calling first. We don’t mind that. It’s a relaxed atmosphere. We use a lot of different products, and they’re all stacked up on the shelves. Sometimes we run out of something and have to go get it quickly from the store. The mirrors are old but clear. We try to keep things simple and just focus on what the person in the chair wants. It’s a quiet life here at 1/232 compared to the main city. We just keep doing what we do.
