Anu Beauty Corner

We are located at 1194, right near the Arya Samaj Mandir in Rani Bagh. It is a good spot because people always pass by on their way to the temple or the market. I opened this place a while back to sell small beauty items, bangles, and things like that. It’s a tiny shop, but we’ve crammed a lot into the shelves. Sometimes the mirrors get smudged from people trying things on, so I keep a cloth handy. It’s usually just me here, though my daughter helps out on the weekends when it gets crowded. We don’t have air conditioning, just a small cooler that we fill with water in May and June. People come in to find a matching shade of lipstick or some hair pins. I don’t do any big promotions or anything. Most people just see the sign while they are walking their kids to school. Rani Bagh is a busy place, and there’s always someone shouting outside or a bike honking. I like the bustle of it. The floor is old tile and some of the paint is peeling near the bottom of the walls. It doesn't bother me much as long as the customers find what they need. We keep a simple ledger for the sales and try to keep the prices fair for the neighborhood people. It’s just a small local business.
