Aalam Unisex Saloon

Aalam Unisex Saloon is located right here in Rohini Sector 18, over at B-4/20 in the B Block. We are on the ground floor so it’s easy to find us if you’re walking by. Most people know the area because Pavitra Bakery is just nearby, and we get a lot of people stopping in after they get their bread or sweets. The shop isn’t anything too fancy but it gets the job done for the folks living around here. We have been in this spot for a while now and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. There’s always someone coming in for a haircut or a quick shave. It gets pretty loud on the weekends when everyone is off work and has time to hang out. We try to keep the place tidy but with people coming in and out all day, there is always some hair on the floor. The mirrors have seen better days and the chairs have a few scuffs, but they are comfortable enough for a twenty-minute sit. Sometimes we have the radio on and other times it’s just the sound of the traffic from the main road. It's a simple life running a shop in Delhi. We know most of our customers by name and they know us. If you’re around the Sector 18 market area, you’ll probably see us standing outside the door having a tea when it’s quiet. That’s just how things go around here.
